Game Mechanics and Rules

Anti Diagonal Alternation plays on a four-by-four board. The board is drawn uniformly from all legal boards that satisfy the public support rule: the anti-diagonal occupancy alternates at each step. This constraint defines an exact finite board support for the selected mine count.

Each safe reveal filters the support. The gross quote (payout including stake) is calculated as:

Gross quote = 0.96 × captured stake × initial support size / current compatible support size

Mine returns zero. Cells with zero conditional safe probability are disabled. Cells whose safe quote would exceed the public 1000-times-stake cap are also disabled. When no eligible cell remains, the current quote is automatically banked.

Controls, Modes, and Stopping

The demo offers specific modes based on the exact nonempty support configurations in the source. Captured stake and mine count are locked throughout the round. Sound remains available.

  • Banking: Manual bank becomes available only after at least one safe reveal.
  • Stopping: A mine ends the round with zero gross. Manual bank, revealing all safe cells, or having no eligible cell remaining also ends the round.
  • Cap Guard: Individual transitions above 1000x stake are disabled before a reveal.

No auto queue is used. Refills are manual and only possible while idle.

Wallet and Refill Mechanics

The wallet starts with a balance of 1000 virtual coins. Fractional carry persists across settlement, refill, and reload.

Refill Rule: A manual refill while idle and below a balance of 10 sets the integer wallet to exactly 1000. This is a set action, not an addition. No automatic replenishment occurs.

Persistence: Settled balance persists locally, including zero. However, an unfinished round ending on reload ends without refund or resume.

Privacy and Data Storage

This guide observes the following regarding your data in the demo:

  • Storage: Source uses browser localStorage for settled demo balance and fractional carry. This does not establish anonymity or exclude other processing.
  • Third Parties: The template declares a Google Fonts stylesheet. Actual browser request capture is pending; this is not a claim that other requests or processing are absent.
  • Identity: There is no demo account flow or demo payment flow. The absence of account controls does not prove no personal data is processed.

Audience and Responsible Use

18+ Audience: This 18+ label is this guide's own intended audience policy, not a claim about local law or an implemented age gate. It is not a statement of local legality.

Responsible Use: Responsible-use pages can describe optional pauses, a personal time/virtual-coin limit, and finding appropriate local qualified help. The demo does not clinically train behaviour or make losses safe. There are no account-level blocking, timer, or self-exclusion tools in this demo.

Scope and Limitations

This page explains this guide's own scope. Terms do not invent legal releases or establish an outside company's policies. The demo does not certify or reproduce any outside product. Simulation measurements are supporting sample observations, not the mathematical payout law.

Frequently asked questions

Does the demo have an account login or payment system?

No. The demo has no account-login flow and no payment flow. Virtual coins have no cash value.

How does the refill work?

When idle and the balance is below 10, a manual refill sets the balance to exactly 1000. Fractional carry is preserved.

What happens if I reload during a round?

An unfinished round ends without refund or resume. Only settled balances persist locally.
